Avoid this company at all cost!

Please save yourself a headache, and buy elsewhere. These are very unscrupulous characters, and professional hustlers. We bought a 6' wood bookcase, 229 pounds, through Amazon, and arranged for an assembler. Long story short, a label was created, no movement on the item. I realized it was not going to get here on time for the assembly, so I pushed the assembly date four days ahead. When I emailed them my concerns, they completely ignored me. Only when I got Amazon to contact them, did they respond. They said they were going "to investigate " to try to find out where the item was in transit, and they needed one or two days for this, something that should take a few minutes, especially with today's technology. Since neither my husband nor I came down with yesterday's rain, we recognized this as a stall tactic, and I immediately cancelled the order, but through a call to Amazon. I got a reply that they would refund my money, but they weren't sure if they could do anything about the tax, about $60. However, the next day, I got a message that I had been refunded in full. Fine, I bought a different bookcase elsewhere. A week later, my order shows up, the one that had been canceled and refunded. Now they send me a message, would I like to arrange to re-pay for it, since it was delivered? I had to call Amazon again to say I wanted to return it, and they tried to say I had been refunded because of shipping delays- not true at all; it had been canceled! Then I had to contact Amazon again, and again they said they'd send return shipping labels, but when would it be convenient for me to have it picked up? Again, I had to call Amazon, because I didn't want to deal directly with these people. Finally, they emailed me return shipping labels, and UPS picked them up. Amazon and every other distributor should really ban them from selling on their platforms.

Ordered off Amazon but Cymax. No delivery.

Amazon should not allow Cymax on their site. I ordered a product off Amazon but now find out I won't be getting the product I paid for because it is Cymax and all they do is steal people's money.

1/2 a Bed

I ordered a bed and when I 0rdered it I specifically asked if it was the whole bed I was ordering, 2 people both said yes! So when I received the bed guess what? It wasn't. All they sent was the headboard and footboard. No where in their ad does it say headboard and foot board only! I called them and was told I have to by the railings locally, WTH if I could have done that I would have bought locally. They say one thing, get your m0ney then send what they want which is 1/2 a bed. Never again will I buy from this company Cymax Furniture. Neither should anyone.

May justice prevail

I was getting ready to order a Leick piece of quality furniture on Amazon, being a 25+ year customer. After checking the leading consumer review sites I found they were mostly unanimous on the customer ratings received on this company - bad to terrible, with only a couple of questionable exceptions.

No order will be forthcoming from this now wizened consumer. After seeing and assessing such awful customer experiences I am grateful to be saved the possibility of yet another unhappy purchasing event!

Great thanks to these rating companies. Abusive companies: clean up your predatory business practices or perish!

Dont do business with Cymax.

0 stars. I ordered a table from Amazon with this company and it took a month to tell me it is running late and that if I want a refund I can get one. Got in contact with Cymax and they offered me a discount for the table. I said no and I never heard from them again., The total was over 600 dollars. Luckily Amazon gave me my money back. Please do not order anything from Cymax.,

Awful company

Zero customer service. No one answers the phone. Ordered 2 chairs. They charged my credit card. Never delivered them. Avoid at all cost. Tried to write a review on their site and they blocked it.

Abysmal

Homesquare/Cymax return process RIDICUOUSLY onerous; Cymax does everything it can to discourage return. Customer account on internet is not intuitive, and provides no return instructions... just a labeled menu tab, with no directions. Managed to return items, and rcv'd an email with two FEDEX tracking numbers, but NO labels, in the email, or attached to the online customer account. Homesquare phone number directs residential purchases to *******@cymax.com which will respond w/in 24 hrs, with NO phone rep option. Decided to call Cymax, chose the sales option, and was transferred over to shipping. THEN, a young and rude Asian man talked over me; when I asked him to stop talking over me, he became silent, and was condescending for the rest of the conversation. Discovered that Cymax had sent a THIRD email, for two boxes on the same order, that had gone to Junk Mail. This email was difficult to print... had to increase size to 110%, so the two labels wouldn't be cut in half. The labels were not pdf files, so initially, the entire, page long instruction printed out with off-kilter labels. Simply highlighting the labels to print out separately did not work. Will be very interesting to see if, and when, credit is received. I generally BUY USA made products! Don't support this BS.

received only half of my desk

I bought a desk in 01/25, on 02/09 I got the delivery but sadly I only got half of the desk and customer services are nonexistent. Only email and they are giving me the running around. No one tells me where the rest of my desk is or when it will be delivered. After I checked other reviews, I realized they do that to everyone. It is a scam!!!

Delivered half of a desk

I bought a desk 01/25/22. They delivered on 02/09/22 2 out of 4 boxes. There is no customer service person to talk to, they ask you to send an email, but no one answers it and they give yoou the running around. Ive sent so many emails already and they are ignoring me. IT IS A SCAM! Do not buy anything from this company!
